media is a central arena for amplifying environmental
issues and can influence the course of policy. Media
representations of the relation between climate change
and development illustrates problems associated with
prevalent dramatic, alarmist messages. CMS ENVIS Centre's
research analysis of the media coverage of environmental
issues can help the policy makers, environmentalists,
civil society, researchers, media professionals etc
to better understand and improve connections between
the scientific, social and political spheres.
